Not the same as the Mike Williams that was a USC star turned NFL bust, Williams stayed in-state for college by attending Syracuse, followed up by a brief yet decent five-year career. Nearly hit 1,000 yards receiving in his rookie and third years in the league.
From the Syracuse area, Branch was solid in the secondary for the Raiders, Chiefs, and Cardinals. Was a consistent starter for the Raiders early in his career.
